The price of the first year’s premium is fixed at a maximum of £319.64 – a fee that can be continued at the same fixed rate through years two and three providing the customer continues to meet the eligibility criteria. From year four onwards, qualifying customers can continue to be covered by a capped premium, though that cap will increase by up to one percent of the retail price index measured from 2022.
